The station was built by the El Paso and Southwestern Railroad. Trackage from Anapra, NM to Douglas, AZ was removed in the 1960s, and track from Paul Spur to Douglas was removed in 1997. The depot currently serves as headquarters for the City of Douglas Police Department.
