With all the discussion of the Phoenix West Line -- between Yuma and Phoenix -- there have been few photographs available of the line. Here are a few:
Former Hyder
station site, with remnants of platform. Lower-quadrant semaphores show Green,
or Green-over-Red, aspect: Clear (Proceed).
At milepost 823, seven miles east of Hyder, lower-quadrant
semaphores show Clear.

Rail in Hyder
siding (on left) is 90lb rail from the 1920s; rail on main line in Hyder and
Gillespie blocks (on right) is 113lb rail from the 1950s. The entire line is
jointed rail.
