The Arizona Rail Passenger Assocation periodically hosts public Open Houses. Members and guests learn of the latest developments, not only in passenger rail, but in all forms of transportation in the Southwest. ARPA Open Houses are open to the public; light refreshments are served.
The Loulan and Nordberg Awards are presented annually to two individuals who fostered rail passenger service.
