(2000) Mr. Pearsall has been a member of ARPA since 1995 and is currently serving as ARPA Secretary. Originally from Prescott, Arizona, he has been involved with railroad related issues since the late 1980's when he assisted with efforts to restore freight and passenger service to the former ATSF Railway branch in Prescott. During college he worked for the Grand Canyon Railway in their operations and marketing departments. After obtaining his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Russian Language from Northern Arizona University, he was also employed with the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railway as a brakeman/conductor. Since 1998, he has been employed with Valley Metro transit, and currently works as a Quality Assurance Specialist for the Regional Public Transit Authority in Tempe. He returned to ASU in the Spring of 1999 to obtain his Master's Degree in Urban & Mass Transit Planning.
(2005 update) Mr. Pearsall is now at ADOT as Senior Transportation Planner for Rail.
