Rail and Baseball Facts
- Phoenix is the only Major League city which does not have any rail
passenger service.
- 22 of 28 Major League cities also have a Regional or Urban rail system.
- 5 of 22 Major League cities with Regional or Urban rail systems have opened
them in the past 10 years.
- Only 6 of 22 Major League cities (Phoenix, Milwaukee, Houston, Cincinnati,
Minneapolis, and Kansas City) do not have Regional or Urban rail systems; and
all six are studying rail or planning to add a rail system in the next 10 years.

- Peoplemover or Monorail: Miami, Tampa, Detroit, Seattle.
